Sidewalk Labs, the part of Alphabet (Google), that focuses on urban development has unveiled its Master Innovation and Development Plan (MIDP) for a smart neighbourhood in Toronto’s eastern waterfront. If the proposal goes through, Sidewalk Labs hopes to begin construction on its first part (called Quayside) before 2021.
